Do you believe?

I label myself a Christian

Who was raised by a Muslim father-later ‘agnostic’

and a Buddhist mother (who passed when I was 5).

….confusing right?–I also attended an Episcopal school

My Nigerian mom was born Catholic and my black American dad Methodist

Periodically, I find myself in pointless debates with my pops on Christianity. I wish I could get moms take on the whole thing.

My dad is the worst type of “non-believer”. Almost Blasphemous.

I believe in many things. One of them happens to be The Lord, God, Jehovah, Most-High, Jesus…you get the point.

But I struggle with my belief and my knowledge of history which doesn’t always coincide with the faith.

 One day while I was driving I saw a bumper sticker…

 It was a quote by Albert Camus:

“I would rather live my life believing there is a God and die to find out there isn’t,

than live my life believing there isn’t a God and die to find out there is.”

AND that SUMS up my belief.

 Not to mention;

God has just been really good to me. I’m really blessed and fortunate.

I have a testimony. One day I’ll share.
